Contestants will be challenged through different repertoire of songs to be accompanied live by the Sinigayan Kahoneros with Mr. Engelbert “Lecoi” Sy as musical director.

About  50 participated in the auditions conducted in clustered barangays.  The number of participants have been trimmed down to 16 from which the magic ten have been selected after a thorough screening.

One contestant will be eliminated every week.  Six will remain for the grand finals on December 22.

Different youth-oriented groups, such as Kasilaw and SCYTC/ PYAP will also be involved in the production.  Our theme for this year’s grand final will be “Halad para sa Dunang Manggad”.
