The Marine Exhibit. The marine exhibit is located on the ground floor of the new Museo Sang Bata Sa Negros Building. This is situated along the coast of Barangay Old Sagay facing the Carbin Reef.
This Marine exhibit will have several components. The first component is the exhibit on displa y which is primarily educational in nature and geared towards children. By showing this to children it is intended to increase their awareness and concern towards the marine environment. The second component is that all exhbits are based on research done by the Sagay Marine Reserve Dept. and the museum staff. As the research and actual surveys is ongoing, the museum serve as a marine laboratory for marine students and other interested persons. The third component is the livelihood marine conservation lectures. The museum together with Sagay Marine Reserve Dept. will be conducting marine conservation lectures to the seaside communities in the area. During such lectures, some ideas and even actual training on some livelihood opportunities will be given to interested groups.
